This is one of Heather's older oil paintings done over a decade ago. This piece was inspired by Heather's battle with undiagnosed Celiac's Disease which culmulated with her nearly starving to death due to her body no longer absorbing nutrients. This raw nude self portrait portrays the anguish and suffering she went through during that horrific point in her life.
