This piece is another watercolor Heather painted inspired by her longtime home in Temecula, California. It was a compilation of two ideas that she put together herself. The fountain was from a local Temecula winery at the time, but it was in more of a courtyard. She wanted it's backdrop to be the vineyards and hills. So she reframed the fountain with the vineyards in the background. The misty hills were invented and not geographically correct to the area, but she loved the softness they gave so that most of the eye's attention goes to the fountain.
